Children's Cancer Research Group

Mark your calendars and tell your friends about the Eleventh Annual Zingaro Zignature Event, Uncork The Cure, June 28, 2015 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at The Tampa Club in downtown Tampa.

All proceeds go to the Children's Cancer Research Group in Tampa. Over the past decade, Uncork the Cure has raised over $330,000 for local pediatric cancer research!

"The Krewe of Zingaro is helping to save lives of children with cancer." says Cameron Tebbi MD. "Dr. Tebbi", as his young patients call him, is Director of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of South Florida.  He oversees the pediatric cancer research lab which is housed on the campus of the University.  "Uncork the Cure has helped us purchase equipment we use everyday in the lab:  the Incubator, Laminar Flow Hood, Gene Array equipment and more.....all made possible by this event and the generous people who support the Event each year.

Guests always look forward to the wine samplings from a variety of vendors,  the delicious food prepared by the Tampa Club, along with live music by Ray Gurka.  Co chairs Steven Rom and Mike Embry promise a spectacular celebration at the "Island Casual" affair, with some surprises this year to celebrate the ten year milestone.

Did you know that one out of every 330 children in America will develop cancer before the age of 20? That is a frightening statistic, and one that we are committed to changing for the better.
